CLAYTON, GA (2/11/2020) — Georgia State Police are currently investigating two separate fatal accidents that happened at the same location this week.
The first accident occurred on Monday night on North Avenue, near Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro. The second accident occurred on Tuesday morning, less than 30 hours after the first accident.
GSP has not yet released any details of the accidents to the public. The only information known at this time is that both accidents involved pedestrians and that both drivers remained at the scene.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
